SUSPENDERS or BELT ? HOW DO YOU HOLD UP YOUR PANTS ?
Suspenders are the type you clip onto your pants....the ones that button to the inside of pants are called "braces".
I used to wear braces occassionally but have not worn them in at least 10 years unless I'm in a tuxedo.
I usually wear a belt and it was mostly as an accoutrement...not because it was necessary. In last year I have dropped 2-3 inches off of my waist line so rather than purchase an entirely new wardrobe (believe me the 2 or 3 inches will add back on if I don't watch it), I do use the belt to hold my pants up. I'm almost at the point of needing to purchase a smaller belt.

You kids these days... with your Urkels and such....SHAZBOT!
"No. No no no no no no. You done got me talkin' politics. I didn't wanna'. Like I said y'all, I'm just happy to be alive. I think I'll scoot over here right by this winda', let this beautiful carriage rock me to sleep, and dream about how lucky I am." - Chris Mannix
For me I wear a belt when I go out whether it be with casual jeans, dress pants or a suit. I generally wear a thick robe or heavy sweat pants when around the house in the colder weather. A lite robe, lite weight material sweat pants or shorts (not underwear) in the nicer warmer weather for around the house.
Enjoy what you like, and let others enjoy what they like. (C) Azrak 2009
