Figures that used Mego as a base

This Rambo figure started out as a Mego t-2 body.

If you don't believe me, just get one in hand and compare it to a Mego body.

Mage and I think Madman both started as Megos.

I've forgotten a few, but will post more when I remember.

The Rambo figure had the Mego thighs cut in half and shortened, and the lower legs were cut a little shorter. The torso was made one piece.

I liked that Rambo line, when I was a kid...too bad they took it off of the market.

Never realized. So are the heads or arms swappable with a Mego body?

Marty Abrams created the Rambo line, sold it to Coleco.

So that's why Rambo accessories work so well with Megos!
WANTED: Dick Grayson SI trousers; gray AJ Mustang horse; vintage RC Batman (Bruce Wayne) head; minty Wolfman tights; mint Black Knight sword; minty Launcelot boots; Lion Rock (pale) Dracula & Mummy heads; Lion Rock Franky squared boots; Wayne Foundation blue furniture; Flash Gordon/Ming (10") unbroken holsters; CHiPs gloved arms; POTA T2 tan body; CTVT/vintage Friar Tuck robes, BBP TZ Burgess Meredith glasses.

Sectaurs use the same body style. Did Marty Abrams help develop that line as well?
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

I've never heard of him being connected to sectaurs but it probably shared some designers.

The neck hole can be opened a little more and it's exactly the same. I suppose you could do the same with the arm hole, but the Rambo arms and heads won't work on a Mego body.
