Now that I'm home, I finally caught up on the episodes I missed while I was on vacation (thanks UK Netflix!). Great, great first season, I loved every minute of it. It's gonna be a long wait until season two though! -
I loved that news story. I thought he was mentally ill, I might have to rewatch those videos knowing he pulled a "Andy Kauffman" type rib on the stations.Amazing! The only episode I wasn't totally crazy about was the flashback Mike episode. It seemed like stuff that we could have pieced together without it, plus it felt a bit like an episode of "Cold Case Files" or something to me - but every other episode of this season has been so unbelievably great that I think I might go a little nuts after the last one.
Apparently the dorky mini van dude who hired Mike for the drug deal use to be a fake yo-yo master who pranked local TV news shows.
Pretty hilarious to watch:

^^Agreed. Brilliant. We just watched it last night on Netflix.
My wife sent me these interviews from NPR with Bob Odenkirk from 2013 and another with Pete Gould and Jonathan Banks for Better Call Saul. If you are a fan of BB and BCS, a must!

Really good episode last night. I like it when Jimmy is going up against the man. Interesting to see how Charles treated him back in they day.Leave a comment:

I had to Google the differences between scruples, morals, and ethics and I stand corrected. He does have scruples. His ethics are more questionable. Honor among thieves I guess.Leave a comment:

Barring the kinds of cases he takes, he does indeed have scruples. He could have walked off with the Kettelman's money without a second thought. He struggles with his scruples, but he does have them.Leave a comment:

Jimmy never had scruples, hence "Slippin' Jimmy". Everything he's built so far is based on a scam. His character is fantastic, I love him.
This is my favorite show on TV right now. Odenkirk is an amazing actor and the guy that plays Mike is just fantastic. He's really showing it too, moreso than on Breaking Bad.Leave a comment:

I can't wait to see what finally pushes Jimmy to lose his scruples.Leave a comment:

Jimmy flipping at the end was heart-breaking. Also his reaction when she rejects his offer.
Love the Secret Origin of Mike.
Can't wait for Gustavo Fring to show up eventually. We know there is a story there, and Giancarlo Esposito is too good an actor not to come back to a juicy role like this.Leave a comment:
