I don't think it's pointless necessarily. In some parts of the world this is quite common. They don't get our shows, so they make their own version. Hell, how many British shows do we remake? My point really was that since the show is so perfect they simply don't mess with it and shoot it exactly like the original, so for us it's pointless to watch.

I watched a few episodes of Metastasis...but I agree about being pointless, rehashing the same thing, scene by scene...unless you are only a Spanish speaker...and never previously seen the original..I'll keep watching my original Breaking Bad, thank you very much.

I've watched a couple episodes of Metastasis, and it's pretty much exactly like BB. The ones I saw were scene for scene to the original. When you have a perfect show to go off of, it's best to not mess with anything.

Then you should not watch this series, because you are already aware that Vince Gilligan does not know how to tell an engaging story, and you will remember how Breaking Bad relied solely one only one character.

I haven't finished the first episode but what I did see I really enjoyed. I'm trying to really pay attention because I know certain things are going to be important later. I think the main draw for me is to see how he gets from here to being, "Saul."

I am finding rewatching the pilot episode to be very helpful in understanding what's going on. This is an excellent series.
