    Ghosthunters on Sci-fi- any fans?

Anybody here like that show on Sci-Fi ( Ghosthunters )?

Do you think its real ghosts they catch on video & audio? I think its the real deal. I never saw a ghost but heard footsteps plenty of times when nobody was there.

So far the new episodes have been cool!!

Watch it on Sci-Fi- I think Wed at 8pm or 9pm.

[Bill Murray]No... human being would ever make footsteps.[/Bill Murray]

No to criticise anyone's beliefs, but I'm of the opinion you must first exhaust all of the real-world, physical possibilities first, before coming to a supernatural conclusion. There is a rational explanation for every ghost story I've ever heard.

That said, I have watched a few episodes of this show and it is fun, if only to watch the people's reactions to what they believe are spiritual entities.

I really don't know how to explain that picture frame from last week. That was something else.

As someone who grew up in a house with a spirit, I find this show to be the most believable of its kind. They are actually pretty skeptical, and debunk a lot of what people claim to have seen, heard, experienced. Very few times have I seen them declared a house "haunted". Many episodes they don't really find anything. I don't think they'd air those if they weren't trying to be as legit as possible.

Most of these shows with "sensetives" that point out every "orb" in a photo seem just full of total bunk. At least the main two Ghost Hunters (Jay and Grant) seem to be level-headed and actually want to investigate, for good (finding evidence of a haunting) or bad (an hour long show of nothing).

See thats what I like about these guys too. (Well at least in the first few shows it seems its happening a bit too much now) At least there are a few shows where they admit they didnt find anything. Where other shows find a major haunt every single episode. Thats unrealistic. I know they probably edit together just the cases where they do find some stuff but you have to keep things realistic.

And I hate... Hate when they just start jumping around yelling "Hey you see that full torsoed spirit over there" And the camera never leaves the guys.

What do you think about the rip off shows about UFOs and mysterious creatures? I can't imagine how you can do an active investigation on a 20 yr old UFO siting?

Speaking of which any of you see that UFO pic supposedly taken and posted on AOL news yesterday? Damn realistic for a hoax if you ask me.
Lo there do I see my Father.
Lo there do I see my Mother and my Sisters and my Brothers.
Lo there do I see the line of my people back to the begining.
            Lo they do call me.
They bid me take my place among them.
In the halls of Valhalla where the brave may live forever.

I'd like to watch it but since it's on at night and I live alone I just can't. I've been catching Destination Truth instead.

Yeah Destination truth is pretty good at times. The Yeti episode was crazy! Cool footprints were found and casted.

Ghosthunters was real good last week with the clear audio of the footsteps then the picture moving!

Years ago they caught a clear image of a civil war looking soldier.
