RIP Rod Taylor (Star of "The Birds")

He was great in this movie. Did you know he was the voice of Pongo in "101 Dalmations"? RIP Rod.

I had no idea, until I saw one of those "TCM Remembers...." bits last night. They are showing some of his movies on Thursday night.

I remembered him being in a short-lived TV series about cowboys who time traveled from the 1880s to the then-present 1980s. IMDB says it was called "The Outlaws".

I had no idea he was the voice of Pongo, and apparently the first choice for Taylor in POTA. Loved him in "The Time Machine."

      RIP.

RIP. The Birds is one of those movies that still freaks me out to this day and a good portion of that is all of the character responses and interaction.
        It's all good!

Time Machine is a real favorite. They should have made Mego Morlocks and Taylor in his Time Machine.
