I watched that show when I was kid. For some reason, I was quite a fan of it. I have no idea why, as I haven't seen it since. It'd be interesting to see how it held up.
Wasn't the actor who played Belvedere the replacement for Tattoo on Fantasy Island?
Five or more years after the show was cancelled the guys from Ned & Stacey did one fantastic episode with Mr. Belvedere. The thing has many LOL moments of dark humor. I carry this particular episode on my iPod and watch it from time to time just for laughs. And, to be honest I never really liked the Belvedere show!
Cool! I remember that show from the TGIF line-up on ABC. I miss when TV had line-ups that were "events" to look forward to.

Yes, I can see I believe that it's magic

He was so different in the original version of The Producers. Great actor!
It's strange, we watched that show every week when I was a kid and my parents would always point out trivia and other tidbits when we watched TV, but I don't remember learning of the Beaver Falls connection until years later. It's close to me, too, and I even have family that live near it!
Remember when people thought the oldest son on Mr. Belvedere later became Marilyn Manson?
I never heard that about the kid from "Mr. Belvedere": I remember people thinking/saying Marilyn Manson was the kid who played Paul on "The Wonder Years"...

That's the one I heard too. And like the story about Ken Osmond ("Eddie Haskell") growing up to become John Holmes, both are indeed myths.
