Grabbed this box of comics for $16.00 after flipping through the top of the stack and seeing this (thrashed) copy of Journey Into Mystery #85

Not a huge comics guy, but this is my second best comics score yet.

3rd issue with Thor in it. He started in Journey Into Mystery 83.

3rd appearance of Thor, 1st appearance of Loki.
Relatively rare.

Could be a $100 book in this condition to the right person.

Mostly I was stoked because I never find comics of that era and importance in the wild.

saw an extremely beet up Dinah Mite today for .50, the body and head were so rough I passed, would have just sat in my parts box. legs and arms were so discolored they were actually yellow. head moldy, hair cut and nasty. they had some fisher price adventure people for the same price but again they were all moldy and I did feel it worth my time to clean them up
