man that's the one I was trying to remember,Ponderosa they have one in about every corner of Orlando.I always get the breakfast buffet there when I go to Disney.it's $2.99 and they have a ton of stuff
Ponderosa's MAKE YOUR OWN TACO on the salad bar ........
They'd always lose money when I walked in the door
AppleBee's portions are as big as the Outbacks,.. the last time I went, which was last October they had something called a Super House Serlion..it was Bigger than the outback's. .. But thier Flavor isn't as great,.but it is good food...,. however the price when everything is said & done is about 20to25 bucks cheaper than the OutBack, depending what you get ofcourse.
... The Original Knight ..., Often Imitated, However Never Duplicated. The 1st Knight in Customs.
How big is their portions ? ...
Bare in mind i'm a fat guy and need big portions ?
We have a restaurant here (don't know if it's a national chain) called "Black Bear" which has the biggest portions than any place I've ever seen. It's homestyle cookin' and the chicken fried steak is wonderful! There's never a skinny person in the place.
They were situated right behind a Casino in the middle of the city.
I'm guessing, tourist crowd restaurants always short-change their customers with food.
Hell, a local store charged me 4 bucks for a bottle of Coke......
Their cigarettes-- forget it-- don't even ask .......
Just (if you're a smoker) NEVER go to Canada without smuggling in your own smokes--unless you feel like paying $10.000 a pack
For your buck (not taste buds) Pancho's Mexican Buffet is the best place for a poor fat guy. The food is OK, but it is all you can eat.
I consider Outback just one step below "going out to dinner". It is way above just a place to grab something to eat. When we get Outback, we use curbside and bring it home, save on the high end drinks and tips. This is were alot of the bill adds up.
Places like Red Lobster never last long here, because of the great seafood restaurants in the area that is about the same price but MUCH better food.
Sizzler has been gone from this area for 20 years. Outbacks don't do that well around here. I don't like them as much as I like the Texas Roadhouse. Olive Garden is only good if you want soup and salad, their Italian dishes suck. Id rather have Beefaroni from a can. I live in New England so Red Lobster can't even come close to the seafood we have around here. We don't have Chi Chi's but the one's I've been in remind me a lot of an Applebee's which is OK but the food is not fantastic. They're good for drinks and appetizers but not for dinner. I don't like TGIFridays but my kids do, it's kinda the hip place to be on a Friday and Saturday night. Red Robin IMO is one of the best burgers I've ever had. Was there last week and would go again right now.We discovered them at my sons college in NY but now we have one here. Simply a great burger!! Red Robin and Texas Roadhouse are my votes.
Oh man,
You're in Massachusetts !!!
You guys got some really good ma and pa Lobster/Crabshacks up there !!!
I remember eating like 5 lobsters in one shot for like 20 bucks up there (beer included)..
If I was in Mass, i'd never go to a chain place.
You guys--- along with Maine ... RULE

Then you'd love Ryan's down here. Great little buffet place. Not only make your own taco but they've got a great carving station as well. Not bad for 8 bucks.
