    1 day trip to NYC...some Macy's pics

For fun, the family traveled north for the day to see the sites of NYC. Since we only stayed the day, we didn't do much more than shop and see touristy stuff, but the kids were thrilled. I took a few pics of the Macy's windows. The theme this year was Christmas among the planets.

Thanks for sharing those. Wonderful. That's a lost art I wish they'd bring back. You'd think more retailers would go above and beyond to compete with online sales.

Great pictures and beautiful window displays at Macy's!

I live in NYC but didn't make it past Macy's this Christmas time.

Nice pictures, I didn't make it down to Macy's this year. Hope you had a nice day in the city, it really is great at Christmas time.

I used to always go to Macy's to see Santa when I was little. Good times. Those pics are great! I really like that 3rd one. Great window displays are like great art!

looks great. I was down there today but the city was such a mad house I did not make it down to macy's. I did see the Saks 5th window displays as I drove past, LOL. Times Square was absolutely crazy already today but we had lunch at the Olive Garden there

Not to divert from the topic, but that's actually a fun Olive Garden!

Yeah, Saks usually has great Christmas window displays, as well.
