Mystery for the ages...figure this one out.

I got a package in the mail yesterday clearly hand addressed to me...full name, street address etc.

It is from a person in another state I have never heard of and do not know. It is nothing I bought nor would ever buy.

I've checked Ebay, Paypal, Amazon and every other site, group, etc. I belong to and cannot find any connection to this person whatsoever.

It was not sent third party from any family member or friend. I am completely baffled and it's driving me crazy.

This is hands down the most bizarre thing that's ever happened to me.

How the heck does that beat seeing big foot? I would give it back to the post office with a big fat "return to sender" stamp on it.

      ^Hey, I can explain Bigfoot.

This...I just don't know. It's a ratty, dirty used copy of season two of Barney Miller.

I've never seen an episode of Barney Miller in my life nor had any desire to. I dunno...you tell me friend.

Maybe a seller looked at the wrong item they sold on ebay and sent it to you by mistake.

^That's what I thought. I've checked Ebay, Paypal, everything. No connection at all.

Can you cross reference him online and contact him directly?

Look for him on Facebook, as well.

              Let us know what happens!

Make sure there's nothing strange about it - white powder etc.

You never know who's a nut out there - remember that guy from The Jerk ? "he hates these cans"

Consider this an opportunity.. Barney Miller is a great show!

Does the address/city of the sender match the city on the postmark? Since you have the sender's name and address, did you look for a phone number?

I think loving Barney Miller is a huge NY thing, like loving The Honeymooners and the Odd Couple.

And yes, I love Barney Miller too

Then somebody here has a great Christmas gift for you!
Expect a package in the mail...

I think this has something to do with timetravel.
You may not understand this package now, but it's quite possible your future self sent it to you for a very important reason.

Could it be a Secret Santa gift (from here or elsewhere)?

LMAO with tears for real...it's like a gag from a Coen Bros movie. you're now supposed to go on the journey of a lifetime and bring together the owners of the other seasons for something big, or you'll end up in a warehouse in Kokomo arguing with some dude from Singapore who liquidates library overstock.

Honestly, I have read about people who randomly mail stuff at Christmas as a way to clean house. I think this shows how far we've slipped when it comes to household antiques. Some people get ivory figurines, you got a beaten copy of a middle season for the biggest NY in-joke in TV history,

                              OMG...it's a Hanukkah present!
