Wal-Mart at midnight is a scary place...

Me and the wife thought we'd go grocery shopping at midnight to avoid the crowds...holy crap was that ever a freakshow.

The creeple people were all there, and I don't mean just the customers. Every employee we encountered looked like a member of the Addams Family. The guy buffing the floors was a dead ringer for Uncle Fester. I am not kidding. Some of them smiled at us, but it was like that creepy insane smile. They obviously stick all the associates they want to keep out of public view on midnights. It was totally bizarre and surreal.

I wish we'd have taken some pictures...I swear the guy rounding up carts outside actually growled at us.

      I adore the Addams Family.

Wal-Mart as a company, not much. My sister works for them and oh, the stories I could tell.

My brother has called Walmart " Darwin's waiting room " for years.

I joke that the employment application has checkboxes for "how many teeth are you missing?" and "mullet: yes or no".
Plus it's like an obstacle course trying to shop while they are stocking the store at night.

Thanks to a teething baby, I once went to a Tennessee Wal-Mart at 4:15 AM. It was sort of like my own private Wal-Mart, I'm not sure the employees even realized I was in there!
