    CALLING ALL CANADIANs!!

Hi there everyone...I'd like to just take note of all collectors here at the forum who are CANUCKS!! Please specify which province also!

Why am I asking you may ask? Well, I figured that if enough uf us are from the same province, maybe a MegoMeet - North could one day be organized up here!! And I can get us a location to host the meet for FREE/ EXTREMELY CHEAP!! Now if this has already been thought of or attempted, then oh well...I am still a newbie, and that's my excuse.

Hey tactile2...I'm over in Halifax, Nova Scotia and would personally LOVE to attend a Mego convention.

Good luck with that plan I think we are all spaced apart pretty good.Although there are a couple of you guys around ontario.

I could probably attend a Canadian Meet in the Toronto area. My kid is at school in Rochester NY and that's only about 90 minutes away. I used to go to the toy show at the Skyway Trade Centre every October. If you could tie it with that it might be enough of a draw to bring some people in. Let's get the Barenaked Ladies to perform. I almost went to the Confederation Bridge concert in NS in 2006. It was just too far for the amount of time I had off to squeeze in. Are you any where near there BB?

I couldn't get Canada in the Mapquest and didn't feel the need to troubleshoot it. Niagra Falls is close enough. You're like 4.5-5 hours away.

Driving Directions from Niagra Falls Memorial Medical Center, NY to Wheeling, WV

Not too much of a hike to make the Wheeling one.

Not that a Canadian version would be a bad idea. The more the merrier if it works that way.

Wheeling is a solid four hours from Niagara Falls, NY, I know it well.

Hmmm, Im in NYC/USA but I have a friend who always wanted to drive to Canada. If it's feasible I might be able to make the trip. I would take a chance on it.

I am still debating the upcoming Megomeet 08....it's at leat a 6-7 hour hike....and I'd have totake a day off of work, that's the crappy part (well, I don't mind missing work...just a pain in the a**). Just thought if there were a decent number of us up this way.....I am sure that many of the members in the Upstate NY area would attend also....Buffalo is only 2 hours from my place.

Keep posting friends...let's see.....ya never know!

And official MM is like 26 hours away from here so I won't be there anytime soon either.

Guess I'll just have my own megomeet in the basement then.
