Sons of Anarchy Series Finale - POTENTIAL SPOILER ALERT!

I will try not to spoil the series finale for those who have not seen it yet...

It is no surprise that the show ended its seven year run last night and as a huge fan this last season was bittersweet. Kurt Sutter managed to write a show about an outlaw biker gang and compel viewers to become emotionally engaged through the careful and meticulous development of the main cast of characters. IMO it was one of the best dramas I have seen on television in recent years.

------ POTENTIAL SPOILER ALERT - DO NOT READ BELOW IF YOU HAVE NOT SEEN THE FINAL EPISODE ---------

For those of you that are like me and have faithfully followed the show, you just knew how this ride was going to end but, I have to say the way that THAT end played out I found it to be both poignant and satisfying. I feel that Sutter answered all of the questions and tied up all the loose story ends successfully.

------- END OF POTENTIAL SPOILER ALERT -------

Thank you, Kurt Sutter, for introducing us to the men of SAMCRO and giving us a glimpse into their world.

    Some spoilers.....

The show was hot and cold with me...sometimes brilliant, sometimes mediocre (the one thing I never warmed up to was the music video sequences near the ends of episodes)...so I don't quite place it along other great shows such as Breaking Bad or the Sopranos (although the last two seasons of the Sopranos were on the bad side). But overall, yes, great show...pretty intense, violent, and fun. To me, aside from Jax, this was Gemma's show...she was the central character...the one who started the sh!!!tstorm from the very beginning...to the next to last episode...which unfortunately led to Jax' undoing.

      Spoilers.....

No matter how evil your mother turns out to be...you just don't kill your mother...no matter what...Jax had to pay for this action with his life.

        Spoilers....

I loved how Jax went all Terminator in this last episode...taking care of all the loose ends before his trip to the afterlife...pretty awesome, lol.

          Really?
All of them 95% for sure but not all.

Who was that vagrant girl that has been hanging around for the last few years?

What ever happened to Tara's car?

What about tully and the Chinese in prison?

Why was Unser able to live for seven years when in season 1 he was dying of cancer and only had six months to live...lol?

I loved the series and have been watching faithfully with my wife and son for the whole ride.
Great end to a great series thank you Kurt!!!

Yeah, I am pretty satisfied that all my questions were answered. I can try to address your concerns, fallensaviour...

Who was that vagrant girl that has been hanging around for the last few years?

She was Lady Death/The Grim Reaper, she was at the truck stop with Gemma before Jax finally caught up with her then when she told Jax "It's time" and that half eaten muffin she left on the handrail appeared on the shoulder of the road in the final scene. A vagrant cannot cross that much geography in that short of a time span on foot.

What ever happened to Tara's car?

This was never one of the questions I felt I needed an answer to...sorry. I would guess it got sold along with Tara's father's house...

What about tully and the Chinese in prison?

Tully was a means to Jax' ends. I imagine Tully will continue his "reign" over the AB from within prison. With the power shift on the outside the Chinese are no longer a factor at the point in time that the series ends.

Why was Unser able to live for seven years when in season 1 he was dying of cancer and only had six months to live...lol?

LMAO indeed, Unser was quite the medical miracle. I believe that although the series went seven years in the real world that the time span within the world of SOA was four years. Still, whatever treatment Unser was receiving it worked wonders...
