Anybody ever go toyhunting in Adamstown PA ?

Back in the day Adamstown PA was my Emerald City for collecting.

Went there last about 10 years ago and it was only a shadow of its former self.

    Anybody go recently ?

We would go every summer for a weekend .. That whole main drag was a mess of stores and flea markets always had a blast and found a ton of things. We stopped going about 8 years ago after 2 years in a row of disappointment. I think Ebay took its toll on it. There is a hamburger place on the left side of the road we would eat at everytime.Just a walk up place with picnic tables under some trees, but the burgers were amazing.

Really not good anymore. Still try to go at least once a year though. Fun day trip, no more toys.

I used to love going to Reddingers.

Inside, there was a Lunchbox guy and "comic book guy" that always gave me good deals.

Comic book guy sold me a carded Mego Mr Fantastic and Invisible Girl for $25.00 apiece.

Lunchbox guy traded me a 1968 "yellow" Bonanza lunchbox for a 1920's silver certificate $20.00 bill.

Outside I bought a mint condition George Harrison ESCO big head figure for $15.00

Outside of Reddingers I miss that 2 story building on the way to Adamstown .. Forgot the name but there was a Hess Trucks guy on the lower floor.

Ben, are you taking about that joint on the left right after the turnpike bridge ?

If so, I almost choked to death on a bone in their pork rib sandwich
