I like the first season instrumental theme to "Here Come The Brides" better than the sung version from second season.

How sick is it that I can sing the opening theme song for Maude, A cappella?

IMHO there's some classic ones that just can't be beat. Here's a countdown for the seven best ones that I can remember.

    7. The Wild Wild West theme, an unmistakable instrumental intro indeed!

    6. I'm Always Here, Baywatch intro by Jimi Jamison of Survivor. Killer song for a now legendary TV series.

    5. DRIVE, intro theme song for Hardcastle & McCormick. I never heard who the singer or band was, and as far as I understand it was not released as a single. But all in all, I think it would have been a mighty fine record.

    4. Movin' On, by Merle Haggard. I don't think the series lasted long, unfortunately. Now the intro song was great, and the single record that Merle Haggard released got to hit the #1 spot on Billboard in 1975, if my memory doesn't fails. A terrific intro song by the man who is probably the greatest singer & songwriter in the history of Country Music.

    3. Moonlighting, by Jazz singer Al Jarreau. A great song that spent a week on the Billboard Adult contemporary chart back in 1987.

    2. The Dukes of Hazzard theme, by Waylon Jennings. I find it a bit ironic liking this song so much, cause while I am very much into hardcore Country music myself, I've never been a huge fan of ol' Waylon (RIP). But dang, he did a mighty fine job on this one! It was release as a single in 1980 and spent some time at #1 on the Billboard Country chart. If you haven't heard it, well, there's a full song out of this. Awesome stuff I gotta say.

    1. The Fall Guy, by Lee Majors. Colt Seavers might not have a hell of a voice, but he sure had style, and the music is great. There's a full version to this one that was released as a single record in Germany, and did well in the charts there back in 1982. There's a funny side to it because it mentions Farrah, Jaclyn Smith, Cheryl Ladd, Bo Derek, Sally Field, Cheryl Tiegs, Rachel Welch. It also mentions Robert Redford, Clint Eastwood, and the complete version ends up singing: "Yeah, I'm the unknown stuntman that made a lover out of Burt (Reynolds)", haha. Priceless!
