Based on this, it looks like New Eye Studio has bit the dust. Intergalactic always had better prices. I haven't bought from them in years but still get their emails:
NEW EYE STUDIO MERGES WITH INTERGALACTIC
We are proud to announce the merger between New Eye Studio and Intergalactic Trading Company. This merger brings together two of the longest lived mail order and internet companies specializing in Science Fiction collectibles in the universe. Both of these companies have been serving the Star Trek collectibles community for over 30 years! All operations will be handled from the offices of Intergalactic Trading Company. There will be no changes for Intergalactic's customers except an expansion of the product line. The New Eye Studio website, Star Trek Toys Action Figures, will remain online but all orders will be made and processed through Intergalactic.
New Eye Studio has been in business since the mid 1970s appearing at hundreds of Star Trek & Sci-Fi conventions in the North East and around the US while operating a successful mail order and internet business for several decades out of Connecticut. This merger has been anticipated since New Eye Studio relocated to Lake Mary, Florida several years ago. It was clear that eventually the two companies would combine due to the close physical proximity (less than 3 miles). We are in the process of merging the New Eye inventory into ours at Intergalactic. This will be a time consuming and space demanding process. As we slowly blend these products into ours we will be adjusting prices to reflect these inventory changes. Some prices will actually go down due to increased inventory! NEW CHANGES TO THE INTERGALACTIC WEBSITE
We have started with the smaller items that are easier to blend into our inventory. We have totally revamped our section on Star Trek jewelry adding over a dozen new listings. These include a large expansion of our selection of necklaces, earrings, and pins. To see these listings please go to http://scifistore.com/shop.cfm?type=products&cid=STJ.
We have also expanded and edited our selection of Star Trek classic episode cloisonné pins. This combination of the two largest inventories in the world of these pins makes our selection second to none. Several pins that had been out of stock have been relisted and many prices have been lowered due to increased inventories. Hurry on these as several of these pins are in very short supply. As new product lines are combined we will announce these new selections to you here in these newsletters. If you get a chance visit the New Eye Studio website and check it out.
