I zoomed in on the photo and showed my wife and she thought it was a photo of a real person dressed up. The gradation and color variances are outstanding. You should have some "behind the scenes" photos of you working on the next one.

If I had to choose between this and the Hot Toys Batman, I wouldn't hesitate a second.
Beautiful!.

Thanks everyone...these are some of the finest compliments I've ever received regarding my work. It means a lot. I'm thrilled you enjoy looking at it as much as I do creating it.
I will post step by step photos of the next kit to show my process.Comment

Fantastic painting and building skills. Just a beautiful job!! So incredibly lifelike!! WOW!!
You know, This model really accurately depicts something that always bugged me about Adam West as a kid: The way he held the Bat-A-Rang when using it as a grappling line.
You see, the '66 Bat-a-Rangs were designed with one hole on the tip of one wing. This was where the Bat-Rope would be threaded through whenever the prop was used as a grappling hook. Now, LOGICALLY, the wing with the rope threaded through it would be held in the throwing hand so that the rope TRAILS after the Bat-A-Rang is thrown. For whatever reason, Adam tended to hold the grappling hook Bat-a-rang as shown on this model... (kudos for the accuracy)... with the rope end on the forward wing tip. It is impossible to get an accurately-aimed throw this way.I... am an action figure customizerComment

Really amazing job. My Batman model arrived today, but I'm on break at work. I can't wait to assemble and paint mine. I'm expecting Catwoman in the mail this week. I sure hope my efforts are as pleasing as how yours turned out. I'm kind of concerned I won't be satisfied with the skin tone or the difficulty of painting eyes.Comment
