When does the Christmas tree go up?

I was getting ready to do it today, then I realized all my Christmas lights stopped working. It seems The Grinch got to my lights. Will go out tomorrow and buy new ones.....

I'm helping my parents with theirs tomorrow and probably putting up mine on Sunday night.

Fake as my wife is allergic to real ones. I will get all the decorations down this weekend and we'll start on things then. It will take a couple of days to get fully decorated.

No tree, but some simple outdoor lighting.

2 fake trees. gave up on real trees many years ago because of the mess and the short timeframe you can have it up. we always decorate Thanksgiving weekend but this year since we were home and had no company we did it all Thanksgiving day while the turkey was roasting

It goes up within a week after Thanksgiving in our home.

And ours is now done and the cats are happily laying underneath it enjoying the lights.

We used to do a real tree after we got married, but went to a fake tree when our daughter was a toddler and pulled on the real one too hard. Now both kids like the idea of building the tree and we will start later today.

Ours is going up today, the kids are all excited to decorate it (fake one because I have allergies).
