    My Batman 1966 Costume

Well, I finally debuted my Batman costume for Halloween, so I thought I'd share some pics. I don't consider this costume "finished", but at least it's a start. The tights need work, and the cowl will be upgraded (It's the Mattel cowl), but so far, I'm really enjoying it.

You might notice small white lines inside the eyeholes… those are lenses from an old pair of glasses velcroed into the inside of the mask. I am blind as a bat, and don't wear contacts well. Fortunately, the fuzzy lining of the Mattel cowl was perfect for velcro to hold the lenses in place.

Overall, I'm beyond happy. I am critical of the flaws, but honestly, I am overjoyed to have this. I am so fortunate to have the means to own this costume. It is the fast track to happiness.

And for fun, here is a pic of me with the Wife and Daughter!

Here's a chronological history of my Batman costumes over the years. Enjoy!

That is just beyond cool. You get extra credit for solving the glasses issue, something I have as well.

Ah...the history of Hedji. Very cool. And not many people can pull off looking good in tights and a cowl. Kudos to you, sir!

The Batfamily! Looks great, and I wouldn't have known that was the Mattel cowl!

I think it looks GREAT. I know having worked on it, you can see some flaws, but from here, it's nigh perfect. Great Batgirl costume for your wife too. Also love the history of your Bat-suits as well!

                Thanks for sharing!

                    That's fantastic!!!
Extra credit for getting your wife in costume as well.
I could put on a costume and the kids would dress up as well but not my wife...lol
She'll wear a zombie costume as well as others but no super heroes.

Boy, that would be swell! When is Mego Meet in 2015? In the two years past, it keeps conflicting with the Niagara Falls Comic Con I like to attend.
