      Nice, hadn't seen that. Very underrated singer, so big in the late sixties then about forgotten.
      "Wichita Lineman" is one of my favorite songs, as is "Galveston".

        Wow... Powerfully poignant considering his situation.

        I think my favorite song his (though he didn't write it) is "Gentle On My Mind."

            I do believe that's how he got his break. He was brought in to fill in for Bryan Wilson on the road.

              He was part of "The Wrecking Crew" before that. Phil Spector used "The Wrecking Crew" to create his "Wall of Sound." They were the musicians who played on The Beach Boys album "Pet Sounds."
