New Ghostbusters movie will be an all female cast

Like any other modern remake it will be forgotten a day after it's release and hit HBO a few months later and will be replayed to death.

Instead of a remake they should do an 80's style porn homage to Ghostbusters and call it _____busters

Honestly, I think this could work. Rolling out the original (surviving) cast would likely have a better chance to "bomb". Like it or not, I don't believe the intention is to broaden the Ghostbusters brand so much as it is to make a movie that sells a few tickets, a lot of DVDs, and a gains the studio a large TV distribution check by mixing a few proven and safe formulas.

So we can pretty much expect Kristen Wiig and Melissa McCarthy. I dunno...I could see Tina Fey as a female Egon.

I'm waiting until St. Vincent comes out to see how McCarthy handles herself with Murray. That might be a good gauge.

I'm guessing the characters are going to be completely different so there probably wont be a cheeky one, smart one, naïve one, and regular guy one.
