There's been three. I've only seen one and a half. The pilot was okay, not great. Over-stylized in parts to my taste, and underplayed some true dramatic moments, like the death of the Waynes. It has potential, though.

    That's my take.

So far, I am enjoying it. It is providing a very interesting look at the depravity of Gotham City and the paths that Batman's nemeses and allies followed to arrive in the roles we know them best in.

I'm really liking it. I find most of the characters very interesting.

I have to respectfully disagree regarding the presentation of the Wayne murders. I found it to be far more moving than the previous portrayals. Bruce goes into shock, struggles with the reality of what just occurred, and then lets out one of the most realistic heart wrenching screams I've ever heard on a TV program.

The program is discussed at the link below, but I don't recommend visiting until catching up. There are some spoilers for sure.

There are some campy or melodramatic elements that I was not expecting. The tone is similar to Burton's Batman films. The second episode really suffered from that, but the third episode was better, the best of the three to me. There are aspects I really like and others I'm unsure about. It seems the production is still grasping for its groove.

The Flash, though, was really good.

This is kind of my take, as well. I like it, but I think it would've been better if they'd played it straight. I find myself wishing it were on HBO or Showtime. On the positive side, the Penguin & Catwoman characters are really working for me. I hope they get the show figured out, because it has the potential to be good.
