That's alright. I've got three Superbowls (should have been five!), two World Series, the best team in the NBA(big game tonite), and the Bruins may actually make the playoffs this year, though I really don't follow hockey at all. The Sox are the favorite in the AL East, Three more years of the big 3 in the NBA, and the Pats will still be higher ranked to go to the Super Bowl than any other team in the NFL and the Giants were nice enough to sign Coughlin to a long term contract after they were ready to fire him 2/3 of the way through last season. Since the Pats weren't the best team in the league last year I don't want to hear any belly aching like "Oh they cheated" or "They're runnin up the score" next year. Strahan's got milk! Brady's got Giselle! That's not even close to even. Drink up Strahan, you're gonna need it to repeat this year!

That's what everyone says when they let a player go. Willie McGinest, Ted Washington, Deion Branch, David Givens, Ty Law, Lawyer Milloy, Asante Samuel the list goes on and on, and they go right out and end up in the championship game over and over and the players are never as good as they were in New England. We went one game from the Super Bowl with Rece Caldwell as our #1 receiver and a year later he couldn't break the starting lineup with the Redskins, or maybe it was the Chiefs, can't remember. It's the system that works. They may not be great at any one position but they're not terrible at any. They'll bring in 4 or 5 guys to compete for Samuels position and one of em will be all the rage next year and have a career season. That's just the way it is. This team constantly pulls quality players from the low ranks of the draft. There will be one or two starters next year that no one has ever heard of that were 8th or 9th round picks 2 years ago and have been in the system for two seasons and will all of a sudden emerge as starters and contribute. They'll get em for a couple of seasons and if they want too much $$ they'll let em go or trade em and take compensation picks and get someone else no one has ever heard of and turn em into a player. I still don't think they'll take the 7th pick. They'll trade it for 2 or 3 lower picks, save the $$ on the signing bonus for a top pick and end up with 3 players, two of which will probably end up being better than the pick they traded. At first I thought they were just getting lucky in the draft. They would pick players no one even had on their boards and then they would be starting a year later. How long can luck run?? It's been like 10 years since Kraft took over and every year they make a statement except 1. Nobody's that lucky.

Pre-season fav means squat especially once they all reach the half way point in the actual season
