Because I eat my stitches . 2 tumors removed, the muscle tissue across her chest taken out and at least 26 stitches to close her back up. Now she wants to eat her stiches so she gets to wear baby clothes , and she does not like it at all.
Aw, that is heart wrenching. Having tumors removed.. Ouch. Having chest muscle removed... Double Ouch!
This brings back memories of when we had a similar procedure done for one of our old girls. And I'm sure you have to blot the drain with peroxide to keep it clean, right?

That is some serious surgery.
When my Jack Russell had surgery on his belly, he kept pulling away the clothing we put on him. The plastic collar around his neck made him go crazy as well.
In the end, we bandaged him up like a big Easter egg, with a big bow on the top. Unexpectedly, he loved it, as it also supported his bad back. During the day it always slipped down towards his butt, so we had to make sure he didn't wet his nappy...

Thanks for the well wishes everyone they mean a lot , she goes back to the vet this afternoon for another check up and see when the drain tube can come out
