Anybody else seasonally grow a beard for winter ?

In the summer I like being clean shaven but come winter time I love growing my white/gray Santa beard

If anything my little grand niece loves it

One year my neighbours boy thought I was Grandpa on Chitty Chitty Bang Bang

Anybody else do the beard thing for the winter ?

Yeah, I do the beard thing too. Stopped shaving recently so I can incorporate a beard into my Halloween costume options, and will keep it for warmth in the chilly Vermont winter!
Looking for redhead AJ heads (or figures) - both bearded & clean shaven (I'm trying to complete all the variations).
Also seeking: 1 blue Soldier Ape glove, 1 General Ape boot, sun reflector from PotA Fortress playset.

      I WISH!!

I hate being beardless, my wife dislikes me beardless but I gotta be clean shaven for a client I work with once a week (respirator FIT certification).

Silicone cushion masks work fine for me when using my CPAP

Winters in California? I suppose technically, lol.

But no, I never grow a full beard...I always have a well trimmed goatee (for years). A full beard would drive me crazy.

I always seem to forget and then grow mine out in the summer.
            Fresh, not from concentrate.

I have a very heavy, wiry beard, and the best I can do is a month w/out shaving, which I've only done a couple times. At that point I can't take it anymore, the itching is horrible.

That's a common barrier most men have (including myself)

If you can get past it (usually 1 - 2 months growth) the itching eventually goes away.

Your wiry beard will eventually become soft and wooly

I haven't been without some version of a beard since I was about 20. Never grow it long , just feel naked without one. Would like to grow one of those wild Duck Dynasty types but I know the wife would trim it while I slept.

I've had a goatee before, but decided to grow a full beard last winter. Though my hair is brownish red, my beard is bright orange. I was known as the leprechaun at work. The beard never impressed my wife, so I gave in and shaved this past spring.

I grow a goatee every couple of months then shave it when I get tired of it. My main concern is that I have a lot of gray in my goatee and I'm only 41. I think it makes me look older then I really am especially around all the youngsters in college. My wife loves it. Go figure.

I have fairly light colored hair, and any kind of facial hair just looks like my face is dirty, add the "it's itchy" in the mix and I'll have to pass....

I use to have one but they are a pain in the neck to get rid of.

Doubt I could grow one if I tried.
