That's what I thought as well. European sizes are smaller.

I've lost 45 pounds since last October, I don't want to go near anything that's XXL or XL: My Wife doesn't want me wearing anything baggy either....lol

I'm an XXL in everything, which is not an issue since I'm a big guy and like shirts loose. But just this past week I tried on a Superman sweatshirt type jacket ( for something between my windbreaker and heavy coat) and I could not get the thing zipped up. I thought "WTH?" I even tried on a second one in case it was mislabeled. No such luck. There wasn't any XXXL to try on, which is a shame. I really liked that coat.

Yup... it's pants that are most frustrating. the whole "skinny jeans" thing.

Baggy is comfortable for those of us who went through the whole "grunge" thing in the nineties, but it's all about "fitted" now. I've got jeans that I feel like I can't sit down in without cutting off circulation to my legs.

I've stopped caring about fashion in the past decade, but my wife still dresses me.

I started getting a complex this past trip to Japan, where I couldn't even fit into XL there.

I think I mentioned this to you before Ed, but I feel like a disgusting, fat slob when I'm in Japan. I look around on the train, and everyone is so slim and stylishly dressed

although the men during rush hour all look like they are dressed by Quentin Tarantino, with the ubiquitous black suits and ties.

after you departed the Nakano Mall, Jen dragged me into the Japanese equivalent of a Gap, and NOTHING fit! Ten years ago, at least I fit into XL's there.
