Local kids go viral... very interesting to watch this phenom....

Hey gang... Odds are most of you have seen this one already considering it went "viral". The little boy in the clip is the son of a Pharmacist and her husband here where I'm at, I actually do commercials for them. It's been really interesting watching how this little video has taken off. It's also very interesting in what catches the mainstream's attention these days. It's also interesting but on a disturbing notes reading the comments that people are posting about these little kids. I share because the whole thing fascinates me in regards to how our society works these days.

What about you all.... what do you think about this "viral" world that we've evolved into?

As a pre-school teacher, I deal w/ this age every day, and I really don't see the point of an adult who was filming this watching little kids argue and poke. I would not have let this go on like this. And I don't get the whole viral thing for something like this. It's not of great importance like a news story or something like that. It's obvious the adult has a great need for attention.

And as of this post 3,656 comments have been made that for the most part involve extremely rude, mean and hateful people slapping at each other. Crazy.

But it doesn't necessarily mean the original poster was LOOKING for attention... only that it's the kind of thing that GETS attention

It's a simple answer why this is all happening: These kids are very entertaining to watch.

Conflict is that much interesting to watch when it's "cute".

Also, people are very "sensitive" about kids and what is done with their images etc these days.... and there's a gap of this kind of entertainment because of that.

So yeah, it's no wonder it's content that went viral, and it's no wonder it's spawned hateful conversation because of the "outrage of concerned citizens" vs. the "haters" and otherwise "provokers" on the Net.

(It's actually essentially the same reason why I'd put that "pet" related material we spoke about before on the Net BTW, Jim)
