Christopher Reeve would have been 62 today

Happy birthday to our generations' Superman, Christopher Reeve, who was also a super man, battling and making the best of his tragic twist of fate. I kind of surprised myself the day he died by being in tears. Had no idea it would effect me so much. Maybe it was because he made my childhood vision of Superman real. Maybe it was because I kind of thought he'd find a way to beat his affliction. Here's to Christopher Reeve

At least he's at peace and pain free now, and probably really soaring like Superman. Happy Birthday Christopher!

It hit me like a ton of bricks. I felt like I'd lost a childhood friend. It was compounded by all he went through, and his strength in the face of all the adversity he faced. I too really thought he may walk again. Either way, he did a lot to bring paralysis issues to the forefront, and his foundation continues to go good work in his and his wife's name.

When he had his accident it felt like a distant family member was hurt real bad.

For me this don't happen with 99.9999999% of celebs

I thought it wasn't right at all seeing him paralyzed like that. I thought any day now he would be back to normal self and he would walk again for sure, but I guess that never happened. Sucks that he had to go like that. R.I.P and Happy Birthday, Superman
