having sick fur-kids sucks. Hope all turns out for the best.

The fact that it grew so fast, makes me think "infection" also, but I can imagine you feeling very worried, Ben.
Our pets are an important part of our family, I know how you feel.
Sending good thoughts to you!
Our previous dog, 18 years back, had tumors on her belly, and they were removed quite succesfully. She lived many happy years after that.
I know that's not much consolation when you're worried, but surgery has progressed a lot, if need be....

Raven hears the news and darts to her secret chamber....

where she charges up her super healing power...

and beams it directly to KIT KAT.
In all seriousness...I feel your concern and send my best wishes for a speedy rebound.Comment

Damn Ben you know I'm a cat guy, and I hate reading stuff like this. But, I know eventually things happen to our buddies. My instincts are KitKat will be okay through this. Hang in there my friend.I almost had a psychic girlfriend but she dumped me before we met.
If anyone here believes in psychokinesis, please raise my hand.Comment

Thanks for all the well wishes from everyone, they mean a lot!!!!
As of now the lump on her has not changed for the bigger or smaller. Its a bugger getting her to take the medicine. Its suppose to taste like bananas , but how many cats eat them, why not make it tuna flavored.
I think why the vet gave us the possible worse case option is the lump is on one of her boobies. The medicine makes her drowsy, so she spends most of her time sleeping in her cat perch.
She has had a rough life before she came to us. We got her 5 years ago form the human society . She was a stray that they had just picked up . She was missing a great deal of her hair from malnutrition. She missing 2 of her front fang teeth and 5 of the small front teeth they said from either abuse or trying to eat something hard . And even still now the slightest noise spooks her.
She's a loving cat, wanting to sit as close as she can with you on the couch , and has habit of sharing the pillow come bedtime.Comment
