    The movie sure went thru a lot of changes to the finished product. Did Pee Wee loose the gig due to his theatre antics? Or was that later on in his career.

      I think this would have been before that. The actual Roger Rabbit film came out while Pee Wee's Playhouse was in it's heyday, as I recall.

        Wow - cool to see the earlier character designs! Part of the end had music from the final movie, so I assume that was all edited together much later. I wonder who put this together.

        It's interesting to see that some of the key changes from the book were planed this early on - like the title and the fact that Roger is a lovable goof.

        (Am I the only one who thought the promo in the artists studios was staged, shot and acted like the world's worst porno?)
