The movie sure went thru a lot of changes to the finished product. Did Pee Wee loose the gig due to his theatre antics? Or was that later on in his career.You must try to generate happiness within yourself. If you aren't happy in one place, chances are you won't be happy anyplace. -Ernie Banks -
I think this would have been before that. The actual Roger Rabbit film came out while Pee Wee's Playhouse was in it's heyday, as I recall.

Wow - cool to see the earlier character designs! Part of the end had music from the final movie, so I assume that was all edited together much later. I wonder who put this together.
It's interesting to see that some of the key changes from the book were planed this early on - like the title and the fact that Roger is a lovable goof.
(Am I the only one who thought the promo in the artists studios was staged, shot and acted like the world's worst porno?)Comment
