    Political question for MM members

    Hi Guys,

Would love to chew the fat with you without the typical MM kindergarten baby rules.

If anybody belongs to any decent political forums please post them here ........

If this thread goes against any Museum rules, --- DELETE !!!

Nobody is holding a gun to anybody's head to be here, don't like our rules? The internet is a big place but don't insult us.

To honestly address your question, simply go to Facebook, search (in the Search Bar at the top of the page) for a political party of your choosing, or politician whose platform you support, or any controversial political issue. All you have to do is start typing the word(s), and Facebook will auto complete several suggestions for politicians, movements, etc. If you don't get any suggestions, try something less specific. Try at least ten things, and it is unlikely you will get les than seven results, more likely 20.

Go to each of those suggested pages, and "like" them... all of them... as many as you can. The more you like, the better this will work, and you can always go back and undo any "damage" you later rue.

What will happen is that Facebook will "learn" the issues you like, and start to suggest Facebook Groups composed of like-minded individuals in your Newsfeed. Join them -- all of them -- and whine/opine to your heart's content, and diffuse all that pent up verbiage that is unwelcome, unnecessary and disallowed in this group.

With the crying, fighting, hugging, throwing up and passing out where ever they can find room on the floor it's a lot like regular kindergarten.

                      For the record:

                      (1) I was sincerely attempting to be helpful in my response. Facebook is a social network much better-suited for engaging people in vitriolic discussions.

                      (2) I was also filled with alcohol when I typed that response, so please excuse any spelling errors and perceived snarky tone.

                          I concur.

In my case, it was a tough weekend, culminating with an extraordinarily stressful and challenging Monday. A completely victorious Tuesday, combined with a ridiculously delicious meal, called for some alcoholic celebration.

...which is normally the point when the sage advice would be to AVOID getting online.
