Arlene Martel passes away (Spock's wife, Twilight Zone "Room for one more" lady)
It certainly is not a good week for lovers of pop culture. She did a lot of conventions until very recently when she had a heart attack and it looks like she didn't recover from it.

There was an actor named Ed Nelson that passed away this week as well. He was known for Peyton Place, but had guest roles on tons of other shows. He did two episodes of The Rockford Files. One also guest-starred Arlene Martel. The other guest-starred Lauren Bacall.
