    Marvel Universe Live

So - I took the Kids Saturday

They loved it! as did I.
Great show - it is like the circus - but only Marvel Characters

So anyone on the fence about going - here are some thoughts (IMO)
    1) on line they try to sell you the light up watch - by saying it interacts with the show. While it indeed does not. It does nothing other than light up, like any other light up toy. My daughter grabbed a ray gun, and my son a spiderman light up spinner. (almost all the light up toys are 25.oo each)

    2) My wife and I always try to get center seats, 1st row of the 2nd level. This way they see the whole show - only the glass is in front of them and you can see everything.
in this case they were 25.00 each. Down low I believe they were 50-100 depending on the seat. Again for me its not the money per seat but the view for my kids. If there is a 6ft guy in front of them they will not be able to see.

The show was worth the money for a kid and an adult. It was pretty cool.
I won't get into detail but I will say - Iron man does fly, spidy does webline.

if you got young ones who like the heros - you should take them if you are able to.

I just saw an add for this in my area and had never heard of it before. Thanks for the review.

Thanks for the write-up. Things had gone quiet, even though it started back in July. I almost went to the family to one of the first week shows, but couldn't pull the scheduling off.

I thought it was than a Cirque De Marvel? Isn't' there some larger interaction areas? I know they scaled back dramatically during production and Fiege/Marvel didn't bring it up during any movie promotional, which was really surprising to me.

This is coming to Lexington soon, but the tickets are nuts. We're waiting on Scout discount tickets, which are always a fair price and decent seats. We'll be coming back from an expensive fall vacation right before this comes to town.

        Thanks for the head's up!

If I had a knock on the show - it would be there was no interaction areas. For the circus if you show up early you can go down in the area and take pictures with the clowns, and the motor bike riders and some fun stuff for the kids.

Marvel there was nothing - not even back drops to take a picture in front of. You have to take a picture in front of the vendors selling the merch if you want to have anything marvel in the back ground. So in that one aspect of the show they really dropped the ball. The actors are doing 3 shows per day - so I can kinda see why they can't be out there to take pictures. But would it kill them to throw a few back drops up on each level so the kids could take a picture?

again - I loved everything else. that is the only knock I would give it.

Vinny - I should pull up the original material. IIRC, there were areas where kids could mimic certain super powers. One I distinctly recall was "Hulk Strength" where you lifted a car. Iron Man and Spidey were two others. At that time, the tour called for, IIRC, a football stadium. The concept art was cah-ray-z. So when the site went live a few months ago I was stunned at how scaled back it had become, and then Word o' mouth was the final product was even more edited. When it got no mention after Cap2, no appearance at SDCC and connection to GoTG, I knew something happened.

FWIW - if my posts read like gibberish, blame my keyboard's bluetooth. It will freeze or drop just for a sec and I won't notice until I re-read it later.

I was looking forward to the Batman show but it was canceled in all three cities that were in driving distance. I won't be able to make the Marvel show because it's in my area during football season, which has me tied up left and right.

^Anyone know what happened with the Batman show? I never heard anything other than it was cancelled. No reason.
