    Chuck Wagner, aka Automan

I was surfing channels and came accross ole` Chuck Wagner who used to play Automan. He is the current Ringmaster for Barnum and Bailey Circus-and he looks to be pretty good 20 years later. Or maybe Automan is undercover on a mission?

Clowns freak me out. I feel instinctively compelled to attack them. I don't think it is healthy.

WOW! I saw him and the Circus last year. I KNEW that guy seemed familiar. They had segments on a large display screens and I was able to get a real good look at his face. Now I know why I knew him!

He's the best Ringmaster I've ever seen by the way.

          Here's a 25 year rewind:

I loved "Automan", although I was just 9 when it came out and huge "Tron" fan. I remember the first time I saw Zachary Quinto on "Heroes" as Sylar I thought "Hey, is that Automan's kid?"

            Wow! Very cool find!
Automan was a pretty cool show back in the day. Such an improbable premise. A computer geek taps into the system to generate a computer generated hero. Loved that The City experience a near blackout every time Automan appeared!! And then there was Automan's car - was that the Automobile or Autocar?!! I watched every episode and loved every cheesy minute of it!!
            Shameless self-promotion -

Not to take away anything from Chuck but I also remember Automan as sort of the TV series for ex-Star Trek guest stars. As I recall William Campbell and Robert Lansing made semi-regular appearances on the show. I also remember Delta Burke was svelte and sexy in her guest starring appearance.
