At 7:40AM PDT, KJR 95.7FM's morning host, Bob Rivers announced his retirement on air. His last show will be August 8, 25 years to the day after his first show on Seattle's 99.9FM KISW. Best wishes go out to Bob in his future endeavors. End of an era in Seattle radio.

Yep. Best known for 'Twisted Tunes'. He and his co-host Spike O'Neil are also part of the band Spike & the Impailers, a well known local classic rock cover band. Bob is also known for his work with various charities.Comment
