    Naming Son Batman-with enough Votes

Not me, but I thought it was kind of a neat idea--It was through a Face book group called...

"If this group Reaches 150,000 members I will name my son Batman"

Apparrently the number was met--I just wonder if in the end his wife will put her foot down and refuse.

I was going to name my Son ObiWan .... But it didn't blow over too well with the Old Lady. Serious.

So We came to terms with Maverick instead.

Since I am a big Civil War buff, I talked my wife into naming my oldest son Grant.

She put her foot down when I suggested Lee for a middle name (she thought that was a bit of a stretch).

I wanted to name my daughter Gwen Stacey which my wife actually liked until she found out where the name came from.

          ^^^ Jessica,...
It's also in the Baby book,.. It's meaning is "Independence". Inwhich was great,.. I never knew. It's funny,.. When I was in school,.. My name is Jason,.. well there was like 2to4 Jason's in every class,..There's like 10 different Jason's on this board... so I wanted to give the Boy something different,.. However up here the name seemed to have caught on,.. there are 2 other Maverick's that go to his school.

My Bro tried to name his kid "Randy Travis" ..., however He didn't win that battle. lol.
But he got Colby outta it,.. My other Buddy named his Boy Wyatt,... He's a big time Western fan.

On a side note,... I'd never name my Kid Batman.... Even though he IS my favorite comicbook character,.. Something like .. Bruce ,.. now thats a Great Name. The Name Logan has become very popular as of late with Parents as well.

My husband's old doctor's last name was Gordon. His first name was Flash. I thought that was cool.

I managed to slide "Oliver" past my wife after I failed with Peter Parker Moore, Clark Kent Moore, Bruce Wayne Moore, and Richard Grayson Moore. She busted me awhile ago when my three year old and I were going through everyone's secret ID's. She overheard me and thought I was messing with her. A quick trip to Wikipedia revealed that she'd been had. No superhero names my *****!!! I haven't let her in on why I call Oliver's twin "Speedy" yet:-)
