    My Tennessee trip...Cooters Place

So I took the family to Tennessee on vacation and I thought some here might like to see some pics of Cooters....They have a ton of vintage Dukes of Hazzard toys on display, including a diorama using the 3 3/4 figures. Oddly enough, they didn't have any of the 8" megos....

They had tons of Bo Dukes for sale...

That's pretty wild. I did see they were selling the FTC figures in the third to final pic. I'm surprised this line didn't sell out. I'm not a big fan myself, but I've read the fan base buys allot of product every year and that it's a lucrative business. Maybe not for figures?

Cooter's Place is a trip. It actually switched locations to a bigger store a few years back. I've been to both, and it's always fun. I've never seen Cooter there, unfortunately.

        Great pics!!!

          Nazgul,

I was there just about a week before you were! I've lost count of how many times I've been to Cooter's Place in Gatlinburg (going back to the old location down the road from the current one). I have to stop my self from spending obscene amounts of money in that place- this year they have a lot of great new merchandise.

Just got back from Gatlinburg myself this past weekend. They had quite a few FTC Duke figures, both 8 and 12 inch. Very cool place. It was neat seeing one of the actual General Lee's up close. But I agree, it's a very nice place. Easy to spend some dough in there.

I was about to ask if the food is good there, but then I decided to Google it. It looks like it's a museum and general store (both locations). I'm not sure why I thought it was a restaurant with a general store attached. Maybe I have Cracker Barrel on the brain.
