Just celebrated our 20 year Anniversary in Maui (pic heavy)

We celebrated our 10 year anniversary here and she hasn't killed me yet, so here we are again ten years later.

    View from our room balcony.

    View from Lobby.

View of my wife gettin' lit.

    His and Hers reading material.

    Sunrise

The Red 'Stang took us from place to place.

Kapalua Bay snorkeling action: Plenty of Tangs and Triggers plus Star Fish, Sea Urchins, Sea Cucumbers annnnd an octopus, a small one, about 12" in diameter.

    Napili Bay

Honolua Bay: Plenty of Sea Turtles.

The Lava Flow: So beautiful, so powerful.

    Room Libations.

    Kept aware of World Affairs.

    Gettin' ready for sunset.

Took a trip to Lana'i; saw plenty of Spinner Dolphins and a breaching/blowing Whale that was a little late for the party.

After the Lana'i trip, we had lunch at Mala Tavern, where a bunch of Sea Turtles were snacking on algae/limu just a few yards from where we were snacking on appetizers.

And just like that, the magical trip was over and we found ourselves going back to L.A.

But the flight attendant did inform us that the Kings beat the Black Hawks in game 3 of the series.

Hawaii is in my top 3 dream vacation spots and I even have a Tiki/tropical themed living room. However unless we do the Disney Aulani resort thing, I can't see my wife agreeing to go. The polynesian resort at WDW might be as close as I ever get. Cool pics thanks for sharing.

Great photos and happy anniversary! My wife and I went to Maui in 2000 and stayed at the Ritz-Carlton. The trip was given to us by our employer at the time. All we had to pay for was the rent-a-car, food and souvenirs. I'd love to go back some day.

Thank you for posting this. It allowed me to literally live vicariously through you. I've had a miserable weekend, and I just got away for a moment.

          Congratulations on your anniversary!

                    Spectacular pictures!

Hawaii is my favorite place on Earth, with the Big Island being my favorite.

Not trying to hijack your thread, but since it's about Hawaii, my sister and I are currently looking for either a house, townhouse, or condo to buy.

The place we want is on the Big Island, Waikoloa to be more specific, it's in the north western part of the island...plan to rent is as a vacation home (we will also use it ourselves periodically)...and when my sister retires...we will be permanently Hawaii bound, baby.

Thanks for the awesome pictures, congrats on your anniversary...so glad you had a blast.
