Can anyone help identify these figures?

I bought this guy at a shop in London in 1999. The guys at the shop had no idea where is came from. The only markings I can make out on him is "Hasbro" (GI JOE?). He's 12" with removable cloth jumpsuit (velcro closure) and boots. Anyone?

This one, I picked up at a flea market several years ago. Lot's of fine print on the back. Metal snap closure on the jumpsuit. I think I can read 1979. He's 6".

Anyone have any info? I've never seen them on ebay or the net.

    Thanks for looking.

The first is Professor Gangrene (1st version) from the 1990's Action Man line.

The second is, I think, from Ark II?

Yep, that's Loki from Space Academy. I have all the figures, (even though they're deteriorating). I wish they made all of them like Loki. The other ones are made of cheap rubber that gets brittle and crumbles. The heads are OK though. Someday Commander Gampu, Chris Gentry and Tee-Gar will get new bodies.

Thanks for the clarification, Sprytel. I own Gangrene, but was guessing at SA Loki.
