Kill Oscar: Six Million Dollar Man/ Bionic Woman TV event
Hi guys,
I'm sitting here watching this on Cozi-TV. I remember when ABC aired this back in the day, what an event it was. Everyone in school, both boys and girls were talking about it. A 3 part episode that was shared between SMDM and BW, (when she was still on ABC). The preview showed Oscar saying "Steve Austin is one of Frankin's robots" (the word robots was done in reverb for the preview.) I remember that this secretly scared the crap outta me. I began to wonder if anyone (includng members of my own family) were robots. In fact, when I wanted a Fembot doll, Mom vetoed it b/c she remembered how scared I was.
What memories do you have of this TV event? Did you invite friends over to watch? Did you act it out on the playground? Share, or I'll send the Fembots to get you!
