Thanks for all the input! Some reviews said that the newest version 29 has some bugs, and would be better to download version 28. Any thoughts? I think I am going to switch it tonight after work.

Personally, I think you should download the newest version. If it's "buggy" a patch will come, but there are security updates with newer versions.

I agree that sometimes a browser you're using might get a bit buggy after an update - so this is why I have multiple browsers. I use Safari, Firefox and Google Chrome - if one gets buggy after an update I use another one for a bit until they release a patch or a new version. You don't need to commit to using only one browser.

I'd say download firefox and chrome. Try both out - see which loads faster for your and which you like more.

Firefox was my browser of choice for the longest time. I reluctantly tried Chrome but really glad that I did. With Chrome being a Google product it is so user friendly to be able to sync all of my accounts under the one banner. Either way once you get away from IE you will find the web to be a far more enjoyable place.

Stay away from IE.... I use Chrome everyday myself, but do use Firefox as well, but just not as much as Chrome.

Mozilla Firefox is THE way to go.

I would avoid and advice against any products and anything related to both, Microsoft and Google.

My wife uses it and swears by it. I still use IE. I'm just too lazy (or set in my ways) to switch.
