Well, I think cartoons that were representitive of sitcoms that had real people do count, so I will add to the list Jeannie and the Addams Family.

I came in really late to this thread. Has no one mentioned Davey Jones?

Well, a nod was given to the various guest stars on the Scooby Doo hour long mysteries.

I forgot about The Osmonds! Both the Jackson 5 and Osmonds cartoons were produced by Rankin/Bass (RIP Arthur Rankin).

Stony Curtis too... And if we start counting guest stars then the Simpsons & Family Guy will keep us busy for the next ten years!

Star Trek, Gilligan's Island and Emergency+4 of course. Don Adams, Sonny and Cher, Johnathan Winters, Dick Van Dyke, Jerry Reid, Don Knots, Tim Conway, Mama Cass Elliot on Scooby Doo movies. Partridge Family. The Nanny and The Professor became animated for a Saturday Superstar Movie. Willie Mays too. Not only was Ann Margaret in The Flintstones but Darrin and Samantha from Bewitched.

Recently the EMMY's organization or whatever it's called interviewed Randy Mantooth. Apparently, they are doing in-depth interviews with many actors, directors, producers and writers for their archives. Mantooth's was very in-depth and much of it went into all kinds of detail and stories about "Emergency!"

Anyhow, in this interview he was asked about "Emergency + 4." He said something to the affect that what you hear is an angry Johnny Gage in that cartoon series. At the time that NBC contacted him about doing the voice for the series, "Emergency!" was on hiatus for that season and he was camping in Canada and did not want to be bothered with anything work related. He really wanted to get out of it and in order to do that he asked for such a good amount of money that he thought NBC would say "just forget it." But, it didn't work and they gave him what he asked for. So, he left his vacation for a couple of days and went to Maine (I believe) where he recorded all of the episodes.

He also said that he's really never seen a full episode of "Emergency + 4." In saying all of that, he said really loves the "Emergency!" series and has many very fond(and funny) memories of it. Kevin Tighe is his best friend to this day.
