We had the fisher price 45 record player for listening to the book n records, and then would dip into moms collection as well. My favorite as a little kid was "gimme dat ding" by the pipkins. Lol

Yep! I got the Snoopy's Christmas 45 when I was 5 years old. I still have it!

Speaking of records we had when we were REALLY young, did anyone ever have this one ?

It got a lot of play at my house and I remember it by heart

Ok, this story goes back to kindergarten or 1st grade. I remember my brother Glen had "Pac-Man Fever" on 45. And as I had not yet developed any immunity to novelty songs, I loved it unrepentently.

One day when Glen was still at school, I borrowed his record (without asking) to listen on my little Fisher Price record player... and promptly scratched it. I knew my brother was going to kill me.

But when I confessed to my mom, instead of punishing me, she took me to the record store to buy a replacement. It was like a little spy mission. We raced home and swapped it out before Glen got home from school. He was none the wiser.

My mom is cool like that.

I have tons of them but only one 45 in my collection matters Tollie records 1964 Beatles Twist and Shout/there's a place.
It was the first Beatles record that I ever got, It was given to me by my friends older sister was getting married and getting rid of stuff. She had heard I was getting into the Beatles so she gave it to me as present.....
