Star Wars Day (early) at the ballpark today

Took my son to the Single-A minor league team of the Orioles today, The Keys. They had a Star Wars day with a meet and greet of some characters. My son liked it but I think the Storm Trooper freaked him out a bit as the guy had a mic in his helmet to sound like they actually did in the movie and while my son knew these were people in costume, I think he was expecting to hear people talk like someone yelling through a mask, not to sound like these were the droid they were looking for. LOL. We also got to see Manny Machado play third base on his rehab for his knee, so my son liked seeing that, too.

That's cool. Great pictures. Nice one of Darth taking a spin on the Ferris Wheel.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

I am in the 501st and I troop as a Stormtrooper. I have a microphone in my helmet too. I used to use a device that filtered my voice even more, and added a little static burst, but it was cumbersome and would malfunction a lot. But yeah, I get a lot of "whoah, you even sound like a Stormtrooper!"

Looks like you had a great time!
