What was your favorite breakfast cereal(s) as a kid?
Quisp - is my all time favorite cereal -- I have been tempted several times to order a box for old times sake. but the 8.00 to ship always changes my mind. Quisp Cereal Online Store
Freakies -- tasted the same as Quisp.
Frankenberry
Coco Pebbles
Surgar Smacks - Dig 'Em
-----------------
Honeycomb seemed to always have the coolest cereal premiums but I just never liked the cereal and I was only able to con my mother into buying it twice.
Freakies
Moonstones
Cap'n Crunch Crunchberries
Fruit Brute (The sometimes forgotten monster cereal...)
Cheerios w/half a bag of sugar on them...quit eating them when they got expensive because they were "good" for you.
Quisp
many others, I'm sure...
is there any other cereal ? They don't call me Ca$h Chocula for nothing ... well I am not sure who they is and no one calls me Ca$h Chocula but I love Monster Cereals.
Count Chocula is good. I liked them as a kid as well as Booberry. I forgot to add those to my list earlier. I liked The Count the best out of the three. I never was big into Frankenberry although it was ok IMO.

[QUOTE=Thadiun Okona II;110099]Cheerios - because they were "good" for you.[QUOTE]
So "they" say anyway. Of course "they" say that about just about anything when it is not selling fast enough these days. Then once the sales sky rocket and supply in demand kick in a year or two later once everyone has had their fill of the product then it is back to the product causes cancer or something and we will all die eventually from consuming the product in question. I truly hope that Cheerios continues to be legit and really is good for us and not harmful in the future like so many other products I hear about from time to time. I like Cheerios as well because as you mentioned they are supposed to be good for us. Only time will tell I guess. Thanks for sharing your favs.

Does anyone remember that there used to be Pink Panther Flakes? They were frosted flakes but with pink sugar. I also liked frosted rice with Tony Jr.
My favs go right along with everyone else - Quisp, Booberry, etc. There used to also be a cereal that was like the monster cereals but the flavors were grape and raspberry. It was Barron Von Grape or something like that.

Yes, I remember Paink Panther cereal, but now there's Disney Princess cereal, and it's the exact same thing!
And the 2 cereals you're thinking of are Sir Grapefellow and Baron Von Red Berry. Look up the old commercials on YouTube!
"Do you believe, you believe in magic?
'Cos I believe, I believe that I do,
Yes, I can see I believe that it's magic
If your mission is magic your love will shine true."
Frosted Flakes (- thank you Tony & Thurl R.), Cap'n Crunch - regular, Crunchberry & the peanutbutter kind, & the main Monsters - Count Chocula, Booberry & Frankenberry - don't recall that I liked Fruit Brute and don't remember seeing Yummy Mummy back when.
Of course the greatest appeal, after the sugar fix, was digging through the cereal with my grubby little paws to get the toy from the bottom of the box.
Grape Nuts with like a pound of sugar on them. But you have to eat em quick or they get all wierd, and mushy.
"Steel-like jaws clacked away, each bite slashing flesh from my body - I used my knife and my hands, and when they were gone, my bloody stumps - and yet the turtles came."
Captain Crunch & Count Chocula! I couldn't eat Count Chochula now tho. they have changed it so much it doesn't even resemble what it looked like in the 70's. I havet'a say I loved those tiny marshmellows!
