    CBS Hires Letterman's Successor

Looks like Stephen Colbert will be occupying Dave's desk at the Ed Sullivan theater when Dave and Paul retire next year.

Hilarious. I wonder what that will be like considering what really makes Colbert funny is that he's doing a character. I wonder what his show will be like.

Mina is the world's first Paranormal Petsitter in the new middle-grade book series by Gary Buettner, MONSTER PETS, coming in FALL 2014 from EMBY KIDS. Spooky adventure that's perfect reading for kids 8-12

Never have understood the appeal of Colbert. Or John Stewart.

I always stop on Colbert while channel surfing. He's extremely quick witted and can hold a conversation with anyone. He's pretty much perfect for the job.

It's a testament to Colbert's talent that he's been able to sustain The Colbert Report for so long playing a very broad character. There are facets to him that the public just hasn't seen yet, so I'm looking forward to his CBS show, even if I probably won't watch it since I am an old man and staying up past 12 is not easy anymore.

They tell it like it is...exposing the asinine antics that go on in Washington while making us laugh. Much better than the regular news which just seems to infuriate me anymore.

From my understanding, Stephen will be himself when he begins his new gig.

He hasn't been himself in quitr a while. It should be interesting.
