I know there are loads of unused an alternate James Bond songs but this one is probably my favorite. The lyrics actually follows the movie pretty closely but it is also sounds like the song for a western movie and not a spy one.

Blondie's For Your Eyes Only is another good one.

^Yeah it has that same vibe. As much as I love Cash (and I do) a lot of his stuff has a very distinctive, similar sound, especially in this period.

Yep, he was in the running. I think Tom Jones' song is a better style fit for the movie but Cash's version is still a great song on its own.
