    Oh man.

It's really stupid of me, considering his long body of work, but I always go straight to Pete's Dragon when I hear his name.

Pertinent to us, he made it into action figure form (kind of) in the Santa Claus is Coming to Town and Year without a Santa Claus toys.

          RIP.
Not too long ago, I was wondering if he was still around.

Wow, I got to meet him and his wife at Wondercon a few years back. So sad. RIP Mickey.

The golden age of Hollywood came one step closer to being completely extinct.

Kirk Douglass may be the last one left.

Boys Town, Huckleberry Finn and the Andy Hardy movies are favorites. His Santa voice for Rankin/Bass specials was spot on.

I always think of Mickey Rooney as when he was teamed up with Buddy Hackett on It's a Mad --- World.

Not sure if this is true but I heard he played Oscar Madison along side Art Carney (as Felix) on Broadway ?
