McDonald's stole three weeks pay from me about 15 years ago when I worked as maintenance for them. The manager had everyone on the morning shift start at 5:00 AM and would later go in the computer and edit our start time to 5:30. This went on every day for an entire year before I got wise to it, since the changes were done after the fact.
When I found out and pursued it, my work suddenly became "unnaceptable" after four years and a spotless record. They wrote me up for every little thing until I eventually quit. I threatened to sue, and the owner, who owned thirteen McDonald's at the time laughed at me and said, "Go ahead. My lawyer will outlast yours."
I hope they get nailed to the wall for this. If they were doing this to me and others fifteen years ago, just think how much money they've stolen in that time! They should change their sign. "Billions and Billions Ripped Off"
